What you may and may not do, technically

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the technical and behavioural boundaries for using Astra. Read alongside the Community Guidelines (the human-relationship counterpart), the Terms of Service, and any product-specific rules (Live Streaming, Reader Agreement, etc.).

Violations may result in content removal, suspension, account termination, civil action, and / or referral to law enforcement.

1. Technical / abuse rules

You must not:

1.1 Access and integration

  • Use the Platform via undocumented APIs, undocumented endpoints, or reverse-engineered private interfaces.
  • Bypass rate limits, authentication, paywalls, age gates, or region locks.
  • Use bots, scripts, headless browsers, or automated systems to access the Platform other than well-behaved search-engine indexers obeying robots.txt, recognised assistive technologies, and integrations with explicit written permission.
  • Scrape, crawl, mirror, frame, harvest, or systematically copy content from the Platform.

1.2 Security

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Astra system except via the published responsible-disclosure programme at hello@astraplatform.ai.
  • Bypass, circumvent, or attempt to bypass any security or authentication measure.
  • Decrypt, intercept, or attempt to access data in transit between the Platform and users.
  • Use the Platform to launch attacks (DoS/DDoS, SSRF, credential stuffing) on the Platform or any third party.

1.3 Malware and unwanted code

  • Upload viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, cryptominers, key loggers, or any malicious code.
  • Inject scripts intended to compromise other users' sessions.
  • Use embed widgets to attack the host site.

1.4 Spam and unwanted contact

  • Send unsolicited bulk DMs.
  • Mass-follow, mass-react, mass-comment, or coordinate engagement manipulation.
  • Re-post identical low-value content across surfaces.

1.5 Resale, competition, and proxying

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute any part of the Platform.
  • Use the Platform to develop, train, or operate a competing product, including any competing astrology / divination LLM or voice-clone offering.
  • Pose as Astra in a third-party product, or pose as a third party on Astra.

1.6 Reverse engineering and model extraction

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, model weights, system prompts, or other proprietary information, except to the limited extent permitted by applicable law (EU Directive 2009/24/EC art. 6, etc.).
  • Use the Platform's AI outputs to train another generative AI model (model-distillation).

1.7 Fraud and financial abuse

  • Use stolen payment instruments.
  • Engage in credit-card testing or carding.
  • Submit chargebacks without first attempting resolution with our billing team.
  • Set up multiple accounts to abuse promotional pricing.
  • Launder funds through Stars / gifts / payouts.

1.8 Identity and impersonation

  • Impersonate another person, brand, AI, or Astra staff.
  • Maintain undisclosed alts to evade bans, harass, or inflate engagement.
  • Misrepresent your jurisdiction (VPN-faking) to access region- restricted features.

1.9 Content boundaries (cross-reference)

See Community Guidelines for content-side rules. Notably:

  • No CSAM, real threats, trafficking, weapons or controlled substances.
  • No hate speech, doxxing, stalking, scams, or coordinated harassment.
  • No off-platform soliciting by readers / creators.

2. Platform-specific notes

  • AI features: do not use AI outputs to make medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other regulated decisions; do not use AI to generate impersonations.
  • Live: see Live Streaming Rules for music-rights, camera- identity, and minor-in-frame rules.
  • Embed widget: comply with the B2B Embed DPA; do not display on sites that violate this AUP.

4. Enforcement

We may, at any time and at our discretion:

  • Remove content.
  • Throttle, suspend, or terminate access.
  • Disable monetisation features.
  • Refer matters to law enforcement.
  • Pursue civil remedies including damages and injunctive relief.

The graduated three-strike enforcement of the Community Guidelines § 9 applies to user-facing violations. Technical abuse may be addressed with immediate suspension where necessary to protect the Platform.
