    Your name, your dedication, and the star you picked from our 130-star Hipparcos catalogue form a canonical certificate JSON — alphabetised, minified, fully deterministic. The same input always produces the same bytes.

    SHA-256 · 64 characters

    The canonical JSON runs through SHA-256, yielding a 64-character hex fingerprint. One-way, irreversible. Any single-byte change in the cert produces a completely different hash.

    Polygon · 2-second confirmation

    We call StarRegistry.inscribe(hash, ref) on Polygon mainnet, ~$0.001 gas, confirmed in 2 seconds. Anyone can look it up on Polygonscan. Cannot be deleted.

  4. 04

    Eternal · three more chains

    The Eternal tier ($199) anchors the same hash onto Ethereum mainnet, into Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps, uploads the full certificate to Arweave (200-year permanent storage paid up), and mints an ERC-721 NFT to your wallet. Four chains + Arweave + NFT, independent evidence each.

An honest note

This is not an IAU official designation. The International Astronomical Union is the sole authority for official astronomical naming. This is a personal commemoration tying you to a real star with real coordinates. The certificate's hash is recorded on Polygon (and, for the Eternal tier, also Ethereum, Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps, and Arweave). Anyone can verify it. We can't delete it. Nor can anyone else.
